The GumTree Festival is celebrating its 43rd year in 2014. The GumTree Festival is a two-day outdoor celebration of the visual and performing arts. GumTree Festival has been selected as a Top Twenty Event by the Southeast Tourism Society. The primary focus of the festival is the juried exhibition of quality fine art and fine crafts, giving our audience the rare opportunity to meet, interact with, view the works of, and purchase art form the artists that created it. Additionally, the GumTree offers artist demonstrations for area schools, educational art activities on site, live performances, and a scholarship program for graduation high school seniors from Tupelo and/ or Lee County. The GumTree Museum of Art, Inc. is a tax-exempt art organization, and all proceeds are used to produce the annual festival, to present educational art programs throughout the year, and to assist in other activities of the museum.
