| Description: | From Tallahatchie Riverfest Website: New Albanys premier festival, Tallahatchie RiverFest, will begin this year on Thursday night with an opening concert and gatherings at local businesses downtown. On Friday well hold the literary awards luncheon for the William Faulkner Literary Contest and screen films with southern flavor. The evening will have a headline concert. Saturday will begin with the Tallahatchie River Run and the day will continue with a childrens area, street musicians and entertainers, and outdoor sales from juried artists at different locations throughout town from the riverbank to the courthouse. The evening will conclude with FREE concerts on the courthouse lawn.
