Begin to apply in May 2016. The Prairie Arts Festival is held each year on the Saturday before Labor Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in West Point's downtown. Including Fine Arts, Crafts, down-home southern cooking, three stages of live music, Kids Town, and much more, the Prairie Arts Festival features more than 300 exhibits. The festival has been recognized as one of the top ten events in the South and is one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the country. The event kicks off with the 5K race at 8:00A.M. followed by a full day of festivities. The show will be held rain or shine, so come and enjoy!
