| Description: | Zonta Club of Pascagoula, member of Zonta International: We are an organization dedicated to the service and advocacy of women. Our largest fundraiser is our Arts and Crafts Festival held in Pascagoula the first Saturday of October every year. Each year, the Zonta Festival brings in crowds to downtown Pascagoula between 10,000 and 15,000 people. With zeal and enthusiasm, members are working to make sure this year is the most successful yet! On October 1st, the downtown streets of Pascagoula will be lined with the very best art, pottery, woodwork, and crafts of all forms. Aromas will fill the air for the very best choices of coast cuisine. Unique items can always be found. The list includes, gumbo, BBQ and other varieties. This festival is key to funding our community efforts such as working with battered women's shelters, Home of Grace, literacy programs, scholarships and nursing homes, just to name a few. | ||
