Scare on the Square

Traditionally held on the last Saturday in October, Scare on the Square includes a costume contest and Trick or Trunk. This event provides a safe way to celebrate the season. Area businesses, churches, and civic organizations are invited and encouraged to decorate their trunks and provide healthy and fun treats for children. Attendees can flaunt their haunt at Batesville Memorial Park where the Batesville Main Street Program sponsors a costume contest for all age groups. The costume contest is divided by age group. The winners of the costume contest will be awarded prizes.
